Summer Reruns: Eavesdropping

More works from the old sketchbooks. This was from an assignment in Barron Storey's class again where we needed a theme for a class book that he had the students make every semester. The theme was "Eavesdropping" and we were now sanctioned to go out and listen in on people's conversations.

I heard a few good lines but one of the ones that stuck with me was when a student got his rappers mixed up with his classic illustrators and said "M.C. Wyeth". That was too good to pass up and the first image above was the final drawing.

For some reason, I had done an image of German images but it doesn't seem to relate to the line about someone asking if they have pinball in Germany?

Another favorite was at an art museum and someone looked at the foot of a sculpture and said, "She's got Monkey Toes!"
