Moleskine Sketching
Nothing fancy here. Just some sketching in the Moleskine last week while waiting for some doctor's appointments.
This week and mostly today was spent being a Tech Head and trying to get my scanner back up and internet hooked up to my semi new computer. A word of advice: Don't drop by the Comcast office during their last hour after 5pm....because everyone else does! There was a line out the door. But with a modem upgrade, that means internet to the semi new computer. And with that, I can now use my AIRPORT EXPRESS software to beam some internet music into some other rooms (maybe like the studio room!)
With the newer computer now fully connected, the next hurdle was to fix the scanner which went out last week. The scanner itself is fine but stopped working through Photoshop on the old computer after one too many bombs. Still more problems on the new computer so after an hour or two of cruising the web for information, a read about the tech gurus in computer land purposely not letting Photoshop import in scanners by disabling the TWAIN function because of too many bombs. Lots of Tech-ease for my creative little brain but the condensed story is I now have to use the scanning software provided by the scanner, Epson, directly for OS X Snow Leopard.
Now that THAT is all settled and I have an up and running functional scanner again, I can get back to drawing for the Animation class and still have time in the next few days to scan the drawings, animate in Flash, and present by Tuesday evening.
