A memorable scene from 1931's FRANKENSTEIN. Or was that 1935's BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN? Either way, it was the scene where the old blind man turns the Frankenstein monster on to smoking cigars.

Well, it isn't like cancer is going to kill him. He was already dead!!!!

Besides, maybe Fritz or Igor can pick him out a new set of lungs.

The Bride of Sketching

A special friday night drawing session where we viewed the 1935 classic THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and stopped every few minutes to sketch a pose. My figure drawing is rusty but I got a few okay sketches out of the night. Turnout was good from the drawing session and there is talk of another possible one.
