Some Face Time!
I thought my initial drawing of my protagonist, The Time Traveller, for my turn looked rather still. So I wanted to loosen up and get use to drawing these characters. The best way for me to do this is to keep drawing and do a series of faces showing in the character in various stages of emotion. I liked the way these blue line pages came out and it is a good way to sketch during class. Below is the stiff drawing for comparison.
Talking with a classmate, we discussed whether I should name the protagonist. The novel does not, preferring the title "The Time Traveller". I was trying to adhere to the novel as much as possible and not the movies but, if you've gone through my lengthy Beat Boards, you can see I've added some scenes and characters and have already made this version my own. So the time as come where I should probably give my lead character a proper name. I'm still working on the right name but I do want to stay away from the movie's use the name of the author, H.G. Wells.
